About
I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. One of my first core memories, is of creating collages with my mom using scotch tape and magazine clippings.
Life took me in many directions but eventually led me back to creating.
I thoroughly enjoy the thrill of the thrift, finding materials others have deemed unworthy and turning those things into something new. Giving them a breath of life.
Through cutting and gluing, paint, ink and dyed glue, I try to tell stories that will invoke an emotional response from the viewer. The hope is to create a piece that has balance, movement and life through the use of color and imagery.
I primarily travel for work, during the spring, summer and fall, participating in art fairs. I do so with Rex my partner of fifteen years who is my second half in art and in life.
When we aren't traveling, we enjoy going to arcades, going to garage and estate sales and thrift stores, spending time with our family, and enjoying the company of our cats, Archer and Amos.
I also enjoy cooking, hiking and reading books from local libraries.
I am forever grateful for the choices we have made in life and for the ability to travel, grow and experience the world with the one I love.
