Hybrid is one of the last art pieces I have from the 2025 year. It is a one of a kind mixed media hand cut collage on a repurposed vintage frame. The piece is made from hundreds of various clippings from old magazines and books. The glues are dyed to enhance the colors. Many pieces that I make are fixated on the natural world and singing praises to the colorful pieces of life that are so pure in their existence. But I can't help but occasionally include pieces of humankind's contributions. Although these represent unnatural pieces of life, it's still a part of life. A hybrid of natural and unnatural parts told as always in a story of color.

Hybrid is on a repurposed vintage frame and wood board. The frame is 11.5" x 13.5". The piece is hand cut and assembled with decoupage glue. It also has layers of a gloss finish to protect the piece. The piece has wire on the back for hanging and is signed and titled.
