She's So Refined, is one of my newest personality collage creations made from hand cut clippings from various vintage magazines and catalogs. This is a newer take on my personality series, in which the outfit is the primary juxtaposition focus. By combining vintage outfits with vintage desserts, I am coming up with fun mash ups which to me are nostalgic of childhood - Strawberry shortcake and candy land memories. :)
Each collage is one of a kind. It is assembled together and decoupaged. It is collaged onto a 4" x 12" canvas with a 1.5" profile. The edges are collaged with vintage dictionary print. The back of each piece is titled, dated and signed. It has teeth on the back for hanging. And the piece has a gloss finish to protect it. :)
