The Slumber is a brand new collage creation that I've recently made. It is in a series of fantasy, fairy tale, story inspired pieces all made from hundreds of clippings of various vintage books and magazines. 
The Slumber is a sleepy rendition of tales told before under a moonlight night. Featuring the support of mermaids and the banishment of bad energy. It is a whimsical piece and I enjoyed bringing it to life.
This original hand cut collage is pieces together using decoupage glue. The piece is signed on the front. It has a gloss finish to protect the piece. The edges of the piece are covered in random dictionary print. 
It is a 12" x 12" wood canvas. It has teeth on the back for hanging.
